Announcing Acquisition of Florida Graphic Supply

Acquisition extends company’s sign and display offering

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (July 31, 2017) – Mac Papers, one of the largest merchant distributors in the Southeast U.S., announced today that on Friday July 28 it completed the acquisition of Florida Graphic Supply, Inc. (FGSI), a Clearwater, Fla.-based distributor that specializes in the most advanced wide format technology available.

“Mac Papers is proud to announce this acquisition, which is an important and strategic move for us in wide format,” explained Sutton McGehee, President of Mac Papers. “Not only does the acquisition reaffirm the company’s commitment to offering our customers a broad, diversified product lineup, but it also affirms our focus on extending our capabilities in the sign and display market. We are pleased to welcome FGSI employees into the Mac Papers family.”

The acquisition enables Mac Papers to distribute Roland equipment across all of its Southeastern markets. Florida Graphic Supply is the number one Roland® dealer in Florida. In addition to Roland, Mac Papers will now carry products by ORAFOL®, a leading manufacturer of self-adhesive products and reflective materials.

“We are very excited to be a part of the Mac Papers family and offer our customer base even more extensive resources and logistics capabilities as a result,” said John Eukovich, wide format sales manager. “Florida Graphic Supply and Mac Papers share a passion for excellent customer service.”

Florida Graphic Supply is a wholesale distributor of wide-format printing, plotters, and engraving equipment, as well as digital print media, plotter vinyl, software, and inkjet supplies. The company has been in business for over 25 years.

“Further expanding our sign and display capabilities has been an ongoing strategic goal for us and the expertise and offerings brought by the team at Florida Graphic Supply will help deepen our presence tremendously,” said Marty Davis, director of wide format and graphics of Mac Papers. “We are especially pleased to now be able to offer all of our customers Roland equipment and ORAFOL products.”

FGSI’s location at 2060 Calumet Street in Clearwater is open for business as a new Mac Papers location.

This announcement follows a string of acquisitions the company has made in recent years. In 2016, Mac Papers acquired the Birmingham-based packaging company Higdon Paper and Packaging, after acquiring two Nashville-based packaging companies in 2015 (Boxes Etc. II and Packaging Professionals). In 2013, Mac Papers purchased Alles Inc., a full-scale distributor of packaging products, systems and services out of Hialeah, Fla. In December 2012, the company acquired All Packaging Supplies, a distributor of industrial and food service packaging supplies located in Pembroke Park, Fla. In 2011, Mac Papers also acquired Orlando, Fla.-based Redd Paper Company, and Greenville-based All Square Digital Solutions, an authorized professional reseller and leading distributor of wide format inkjet printers, inks, digital print media, dye sublimation inks & media, laminators, laminates, and RIP software.
