Environmental Policy Statement

We will work diligently to comply with applicable environmental laws, regulations and other requirements within each state that we are licensed to conduct business. We strongly believe that our responsibility for our environmental footprint ranges from how we construct our distribution centers, the ongoing improvements, maintenance of these facilities, the management of our delivery fleet, to the suppliers and products we choose to represent to our customers in order to be good stewards of all resources.

In conducting our business, we are committed to:

• Understanding and responding to public health and environmental impacts of our operation and the products we distribute,
• Ensuring that all Mac Papers employees are trained and committed to actively participate in the company’s environmental citizenship responsibilities,
• Supporting efforts through industry-related environmental initiatives that promote the development and adoption of environmental laws, policies and regulations that are balanced, are technologically sound and use incentive-based approaches for improving environmental performance,
• Constantly improving our processes for reducing waste and emissions to the environment,
• Conserving energy and natural resources by maximizing recycling and proper equipment maintenance,
• Adopting internal standards for situations not adequately covered by law or regulations where we believe more stringent measures are necessary to protect the environment, our people and our community neighbors, and
• To provide our customers' Supply Chain with the best “Green” options in the products we sell and distribute.

A sound business philosophy must also lead to a sound environmental philosophy. A sound environmental philosophy is a sound business practice.
