Wide Format

While the ISA Sign Expo was taking place a few miles away at the Orlando Convention Center, Mac Papers opened its third wide format print and graphics demo center. We are pleased to announce the development of a fourth center – this one in Nashville, opening on June 27. Like their Jacksonville and Atlanta-area counterparts, the Orlando and Nashville demo centers offer hands-on demonstrations from leading suppliers, including Roland and Mutoh, as well as finishing equipment and substrates that perform best with each piece of equipment.

According to Marty Davis, director of wide format and graphics for Mac Papers, “Similar to our other demo centers, the Orlando location showcases the latest solvent and dye sublimation wide format print equipment. Each demo center gives customers the opportunity to interact with wide format experts who are familiar with the wide range of formats and graphics produced on the latest equipment from industry leaders.”

Wide format printing is a growing market for commercial printers and sign and display shops. As part of its ongoing commitment to the wide format market, Mac Papers plans to operate a demo center within a four-hour drive of all the areas it serves throughout the Southeast.

In addition to equipment and substrates, Mac Papers also provides training, services and support to help customers maximize the effectiveness of their wide format equipment. The company’s wide format experts will analyze all stages of workflow, from creation to pressroom, then recommend ways to optimize the entire process.
